Are You eligible
for the University of Phoenix Online undergraduate programs?
The
University of Phoenix has an easy admissions process for both its
undergraduate and graduate program courses. Applicants are required
to complete all admission forms and submit official test scores
and official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
upon request. Admissions counselors are available to assist you.
Undergraduate
Admission Requirements
- Earned a High School
Diploma or Equivalent;
- Be at least 21 Years
of Age;
- Be employed or actively
involved in an environment that affords you the opportunity to
apply the concepts taught.
As part of your admission
to the University of Phoenix's undergraduate program, your prior
coursework, elective classes, credits, and major studies that were
obtained through the Prior Learning Assessment or the College Level
Examination Program will be considered for academic credit. Additionally,
if you have had professional training specific to the program you
are pursing or have military experience, such training may be applied
toward future academic credits.
Graduate Admission
Requirements
- Earned an undergraduate
degree from a regionally accredited college or university or one
that is a candidate for accreditation. (Equivalent degrees from
recognized institutions outside the U.S. are acceptable);
- Have a minimum cumulative
grade point average of 2.5;
- Be employed or actively
involved in an organizational environment that affords you the
opportunity to apply the concepts taught;
- Have at least three
years of meaningful work experience.
Financial Aid:
The University of Phoenix offers a number of options for financing
your education. As a participant in the Federal Student Aid grant
and loan programs (e.g., the Federal PLUS Loan and the Federal Pell
Grant), students are offered a variety of options with attractive
terms. Additionally, many employers provide tuition reimbursement
as part of their employee benefit packages. A financial advisor
can guide you through such application processes and help determine
your eligibility.
